Gary & Norma Legg of Warrawee Angus Stud are excited to be hosting their Stud Angus Bull sale on farm this July, Friday 28th 2023. Industry legends, in both beef and dairy, Gary has travelled to many countries gaining knowledge, skills and understanding when it comes to breeding and growing cattle.

In an attempt to give purchasers the most reliable information possible, all of the bulls at Warrawee Angus have been genomically tested and parent verified therefore enhancing the accuracy of genetic estimates Bulls are also fully registered through Angus Australia with three generation pedigrees.

Steve and Bianca Ferris of Sirref Angus are pleased and excited to be guest vendors at this year’s Warrawee Angus Bull sale.
Steve is a fourth-generation farmer at their coastal property at Cedarton QLD. Steve and his father ran a successful beef and dairy operational until 2000. Steve and Bianca then set their vision to beef cattle production before starting their Angus Stud in 2009.
Our vision was to produce coastal bred cattle, with high growth rates, docility, fertility and exceptional figures. Through our AI program, we carefully selected Sires with exceptional phenotype and production figures to match.
We have retained all our females to date, although our bulls have been sold – from Beaudesert to Augathella, Longreach to Bundaberg and we are delighted to know they have thrived due to being coastal bred.
We have had the joy of watching our daughters Stephanie and Cassidy show our stud cattle at local shows, with remarkable success and the pride of bringing home two blue ribbons in the two classes we showed at the Ekka in 2019. This was a huge achievement and conformation of our vision and genetics leading the way for Sirref Angus.
We are hoping this opportunity sees more western buyers give our coastal bred bulls a go, we believe you will not be disappointed.
